Tuatara Roots Garden at Cuba Dupa

I met with the manager for The Third Eye and the organiser and headliner for Cuba Dupa’s Roots Garden to create a poster that would capture the spirit and vibe of the Jamaican Dancehall planned in the wee garden area at the bar’s Arthur St location. After an initial concepting and sketching round, I got straight to work completing what is still one of my favourite large-scale poster illustrations for Tuatara.

This one was a short turnaround, with roughly a week between concept to final artwork.
