A new restaurant was being developed in the Wellington CBD – it had to be young, trendy and fit in seamlessly with the Capitol’s scene.

Working with Mar_Ca and Catalyst Group, I was brought on board to develop a robust brand and additional assets we could use throughout the interiors. It was so early on in the process that even the name was up for grabs.

Over the course a couple months, we brought Ernesto’s to life through interiors, large illustrated murals and a contemporary brand that felt both exciting and new, while also being a part of the Wellington landscape. Everything from table numbers to social media to materials choices had to be considered.
